Directions for Using and Navigating in PDFs
The
Document you requested is formatted as a PDF document. In order
to properly use this PDF document, you will need to already have
installed on your system or install the Adobe Acrobat Reader
4.0 FROM THE LINK BELOW.

You will need to
download the latest version (4.0) of Adobe
Acrobat Reader in order to correctly view and print our
newer PDF files.

If
the document you requested is a large document, it will be formatted
with a split screen for navigation purposes. By clicking on any
word's Bookmark on the left-hand window, it will take you to the
corresponding section of the document it referenced.
You
can also navigate through the document by using the controls (arrows
or numbers) at the bottom of the Acrobat Reader window that look
like this:
The
middle portion in this navigation bar tells you what page you are
on in the document.The
first portion (% field) allows you to change your page magnification
so that you can view a topic more easily.
This can
also be done with the magnifying glass button.
To search the document by keyword, simply use the binoculars button
and it will prompt you to enter the word you are searching for and
the qualities of the word you want to find. To find the next occurrence
of the word, use the binoculars again. (or for a Windows machine
you can use your F3 button as well).
Directions
for Printing PDFs
To
print any portion of the document, use "file", "print", or use the
printer
button.
This
specification is done once your print function window appears. There
should be a "Print Range" field that allows you to tell the printer
which pages you want printed.
REMEMBER:
Enter the pages' numbers according to what the Adobe Reader sees
as the page numbers (it will not correspond to any Table of Contents
pages as it counts actual pages in the document including pre- and
post- pages: ie: Title page, References, etc.)
