Directions for Using and Navigating in PDFs

The Document you requested is formatted as a PDF document. In order to properly use this PDF document, you will need to already have installed on your system or install the Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 FROM THE LINK BELOW.

You will need to download the latest version (4.0) of Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to correctly view and print our newer PDF files.

If the document you requested is a large document, it will be formatted with a split screen for navigation purposes. By clicking on any word's Bookmark on the left-hand window, it will take you to the corresponding section of the document it referenced.

You can also navigate through the document by using the controls (arrows or numbers) at the bottom of the Acrobat Reader window that look like this:
The middle portion in this navigation bar tells you what page you are on in the document. The first portion (% field) allows you to change your page magnification so that you can view a topic more easily.
This can also be done with the magnifying glass button.

To search the document by keyword, simply use the binoculars button and it will prompt you to enter the word you are searching for and the qualities of the word you want to find. To find the next occurrence of the word, use the binoculars again. (or for a Windows machine you can use your F3 button as well).

Directions for Printing PDFs
To print any portion of the document, use "file", "print", or use the printer button.

SPECIFY THAT PAGE RANGE YOU WOULD LIKE TO PRINT, OTHERWISE, IT WILL SEND THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT TO PRINT.

This specification is done once your print function window appears. There should be a "Print Range" field that allows you to tell the printer which pages you want printed.

REMEMBER: Enter the pages' numbers according to what the Adobe Reader sees as the page numbers (it will not correspond to any Table of Contents pages as it counts actual pages in the document including pre- and post- pages: ie: Title page, References, etc.)
